Electronics · Series & DfM

Transfer to series production that doesn't make ramp-up a risk.

The step from a working prototype into series production is engineering work in its own right. We make the design manufacturing-ready and support the ramp-up — until production runs stably.

  • Design for Manufacturing
  • EMS selection & audits
  • Initial samples & release
  • Change management

Turning the sample into a reproducible product.

DfM

Manufacturing-ready design

Assemblability, test points, tolerances and procurability — the design is made production-ready.

Supply chain

EMS selection & supplier audits

Evaluation and selection of suitable manufacturing partners, on request with our EMS partner.

Release

Initial samples & change management

Initial sample inspection, clean documentation and traceable change management.

Ramp-up

Support during production start

On-site support at production start, until the process runs stably and repeatably.

Development and series production from a single source.

Whoever developed the product knows the critical points for manufacturing. This continuity from circuit to series ramp-up prevents friction losses at the interface to production.

A predictable production start.

Manufacturing-ready design and a supported ramp-up reduce the risk of costly delays.

Frequently asked questions.

Do you work with a fixed manufacturing partner?
We select the right EMS provider on a project-by-project basis and can draw on established partners in doing so. Supplier audits and evaluation are part of this.
Do you also take on just the transfer to series production?
Yes — including for designs developed elsewhere. We check the manufacturability (DfM), prepare the data and support the ramp-up.
How does this relate to EMC?
The final series release includes accredited EMC testing. We validate the product beforehand in our own lab so the production start doesn't fail at approval — see Pre-Compliance.

From prototype safely into series production?

We make the design manufacturing-ready and support the ramp-up to stable production.
