SAMD is an interdisciplinary engineering team for EMC, electronics, embedded software and technical systems. We make technical risks visible early and bring development, testing and integration together.
Over 25 employees from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering and computer science work hand in hand at SAMD. Short paths and shared responsibility help us solve system problems instead of merely treating symptoms.

We founded SAMD because technical problems in complex development projects are often addressed too late and too much in isolation. For us, hardware, embedded software, EMC and testing belong together from the very beginning.
Our aim is to make risks visible early and to guide technical decisions so that individual work packages grow into a dependable overall system. To do this, we combine engineering depth with direct collaboration and clear responsibility in the project.

Our quality management is certified to ISO 9001. The certified scope covers hardware and software development for embedded systems, consulting on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and project management in the automotive domain at the Meine site.
Expertise in software testing and functional safety for safety-critical technical systems – especially in the railway domain.
We work with the relevant standards and approval requirements for automotive, railway, medical technology and industry – so that technical decisions become robust early on.
In our development partnership with NOVUS, we develop electronics and embedded software for real series products – from the circuit and power electronics to sensors and communication.
SAMD is responsible for the electronics around the central control unit and brings hardware, software and EMC together into a testable state, all the way to integration into the vehicle.
We support a team in the ADAC GT4 Germany – on an Aston Martin Vantage GT4 in a distinctive binary-code livery.
